2020 going on 2021: Fresh beginnings never looked so good.
Now that Christmas is over, it’s about time to ring in the New Year celebrations.
We never thought it’d come — but it’s finally time to bid farewell to the year of the Coronavirus. The year when we collectively went through a worldwide crisis and a life-changing experience. That alone in itself is worthy cause for celebration — so let’s get the party started as we say goodbye to the shadow of 2020 and dive into the warm embrace of 2021. Well, properly social distanced of course.
Although spending NYE overseas is not on the cards yet, there is still plenty to do right here in Singapore — if you know how to look! For one, pay a visit to some local whimsical cafes which are just vibing with wanderlust. The Marina Bay Singapore Countdown (MBSC) also has an epic light show going on: see vantage points to view the light show here. If you’re lucky enough, snag a New Year’s Eve staycation at the waterfront that will give you front-row seats to enjoy the light show from your private suite.
Or, make this New Year’s Eve more sentimental and intimate by planning a night of celebrations to remember for you and your holidate or significant other. Here are some of the top romantic places in Singapore to plan an unforgettable New Year’s Eve dinner that will help you score major brownie points.
